Outreach

On these outreach pages we introduce our materials and events for the general public, scientists or not. Most of our public outreach events are held in German, while most movies and podcasts are in English.

The Bernstein Workshop

When the workshop in our building at Hansastrasse 9A became vacant, we decided to put the space to good use. We renovated and refurbished the former workshop area, with tremendous help from the rectorate, Arbeitsgruppe Technik at the Institute of Biology II/II, and the PhD students and postdocs of the BCF.

Our aim is to create a relaxed, comfy space for public scientific events, as well as providing a permanent home to the university's holiday programme for children of employees.
