Aims of the course

This course provides an overview on the bibliographic databases in medicine and biology for an efficient online literature search. By means of a presentation introducing the various databases and subsequent practical examples the structure and possibilities for inquiry of individual databases such as the Catalogue, Medline, BIOSIS Preview and Web of Science are illustrated. Afterwards there is the chance for individually training the literature search.
