BCF member receives research award
Jens Timmer, physicist at the University of Freiburg and member of the BCF, received the Hector research award.

He shares this honour with two other scientists. The award comes with a prize money of 150,000 € for each of the laureates. The Hector Foundation II awarded the prize in recognition of both Timmer's groundbreaking research and his merits in teaching.
