Bernstein’s Scientific Advisory Board convenes in Freiburg
On January 23 and 24, 2012, the International Scientific Advisory Board of the Bernstein Center convened Freiburg for its first site visit and evaluation.
The board's visit allowed its members to obtain a first-hand impression of the current activities of the BCF, and will result in a written evaluation that will also contain recommendations aimed at the Bernstein Center and at the University Administration with respect to the center's future.
Next to presentations on the structure and the future plans for the research facility, the meeting also allowed the members of the scientific advisory board to engage in talks and discussions with all PhD students and postdocs currently working in one of the center's various research projects.
